Károly Härtlein, senior instructor and science communicator of BME's Institute of Physics, was awarded the Bonis Bona Prize of the National Talent Programme, rewarding outstanding activities in talent development. 

Gergely Zaránd, professor at the Institute of Physics, former director of the Institute, and vice-rector of BME, was among the recipients of the Széchenyi Prize awarded by the President of Hungary on the occasion of the national holiday on 15 March.

The measurements of the quantum electronics group, together with calculations from the Quantum Dynamics and Correlations Research Group demonstrated for the first time the existence of a 3-body molecule built up from superconducting atoms. The work has been published the the renowned Nano Letters journal. 

The new manuscript of the Quantum Electronics group on the of magnetic topological insulators by pressure appeared in Nano Letters.
